Over the holidays, my daughter and I went to see The Hobbit, since we had also seen all three movies of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I had no idea that it was only half the movie and I was so eager to see the rest. It was just like the book, which I suggest you read since it would go into a lot more detail.
As usual, the graphics and the storyline were very entertaining. The movie stayed true to the book and it was a great story to sit in the theatre for. What I didn't like was all the commercials before even the movie previews. The entertainment industry is really trying to pump that advertisement before a film. I guess the popular the movie, the more commercials will get thrown at you. Just be warned that you have to sit through a substantial amount of advertisement but once you get through it, the movie is worth watching.
The story of the hobbits is a heart warming story - from Frodo to Sam Wise to Bilbo Baggins!
WRATH OF THE TITANS
On the quest to save Zeus and humankind, Perseus goes on an adventure with Andromeda and the son of Poseidan.
I enjoy watching movies of ancient Greece and the Gods so this movie hits the spot for me. I liked watching it; with Gods, magic weapons, awesome scenery and graphics as well as the costumes. It was exciting to watch, if you like that type of genre. I love how these movies are put together so beautifully in order for the viewers see the "realism" of the movie.
